Solar Eclipse Event

For the first time in 99 years, a total solar eclipse will occur across the entire continental United States!

While we might not be getting the Total Solar Eclipse here in Newtown, we're going to get one spectacular show on Monday August 21st that you won't want to miss! We will be viewing this exciting event here at the museum all day by following live coverage across the country and then we'll head outside to view the eclipse as it passes over us with our protective glasses.

The first 40 guests at the museum on August 21st will receive free protective viewing glasses certified and recommended by NASA.

First come, first serve. After 40 pairs of glasses have been distributed there will be no extras for purchase.
