Why do we need a children’s museum?
We see a need in this area for a permanent place where children can explore, think outside-the-box, and challenge their minds in an informal, fun environment on a regular basis. Through STEM-based exhibits and programs, we hope to inspire children and cultivate a lifelong love-of-learning so that they will develop an interest in science and the world around them.
How is the museum funded?
EverWonder is funded through individual donations, admissions, corporate sponsors, birthday parties, field trips, programs, and special events.
How can I help?

Whether you have a special talent or area of expertise, or you would like to volunteer at an event, we would love to hear from you! This effort to bring a children’s museum to Newtown began with the idea of a few parents and volunteers and has made strides towards its goal by numerous volunteers generously donating their time.
