Summer STEAM Programs

Welcome to EverWonder Children's Museum's Summer STEAM Programs! Join us for our inaugural summer sessions for children ages 5 to 10 years old. For one week, your child will immerse themselves in the critically important world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education. Cost per Non-Member Child for a Single Session: $175.00

Cost per Member Child for a Single Session: $157.50

Important Dates

Session Two: Ages 5 - 7: August 22nd - August 26th.

Registration begins on March 1st and closes on August 21st.

Register at EverWonder Museum or online. *Registration is limited to 15 children per session. Spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. Registration is only complete upon receipt of payment and mandatory forms. No reservations. Registration will close immediately if a session is filled to capacity before noted registration deadline. Age restrictions per session will be strictly enforced.

*Snacks must be brought from home and cannot contain peanuts or tree nuts.

Session Two  Ages 5 – 7 • August 22nd – August 26th

Day One | Dinosaurs

Science Lesson

    Dinosaur Fossils

Children will learn what fossils are, how they are found, and how they were formed. They will then use plaster to create their own dinosaur fossils.

Art Activity

    Clothespin Dinosaurs

Children will learn about the lives of dinosaurs. They will then create a dinosaur egg that hatches followed by a dinosaur head whose mouth opens using a clothespin.

Day Two | Physics

Science Lesson

    Straw Rockets

Children will learn about Newton’s Laws of Motion. They will then put it to use by creating straw rockets using classroom supplies.

Art Activity

    Origami Jumping Frogs

Children will learn about potential and kinetic energy. They will then make origami frogs that jump.

Day Three | Space

Science Lesson


Children will learn about the relative sizes of the planets. They will then use their knowledge to create model solar systems out of a variety of materials.

Art Activity

    Solar System Mural

Children will use their knowledge about the planets and work collaboratively to create a mural of the solar system to be displayed in the museum.

Day Four | Chemistry

Science Lesson

    Lava Lamps

Children will learn about the reaction between oil and water and then put it to the test by creating lava lamps in the classroom!

Art Activity


Children will learn what a Polymer is and how chemical reactions change state because of certain ingredients. They will then put it to use by creating their very own slime.    

Day Five | Engineering

Science Lesson

    Popsicle Bridges

Children will learn about structural engineering before using a set number of popsicle sticks and tape to plan then build the strongest bridge.

Art Activity

    Tower Building

Children will learn about towers before using a set number of various materials to create the tallest tower they can that stands on its own.
